We were asked to install digital signage at Cove Rangers hospitality suite following the recent completion of their new Balmoral Stadium.
Looking to have a professional look to the hospitality suite along with offering more coverage for their corporate sponsors, digital signage was the obvious solution.
Setup
Of the four screens installed in the hospitality suite, two were configured as display screens, offering coverage for both ends of the room. Controlled via our cloud CMS, and each running our Premium Players, each screen can show the same content together or separately.
Sponsors
Running a loop of sponsor content, both static images, and videos, further content was added to supplement the displays. With club sponsors logos prominently displayed, and a football news “ticker”, the displays have useful content, which gave viewers reason to look at the screens. The intent of this was to allow an opportunity for people to also view the adverts on screen.
Fan’s Zone
In addition to the Cove Rangers Hospitality Suite, two screens have also been installed in the Fan’s Zone Bar. With one screen being used as a Bar Menu behind the bar, and another screen out in the seating area, this was configured initially to show the same content as the hospitality area. Future plans are to amend this to include sports news stream within a template showing Corporate sponsors’ logos.
The overall installation at Cove Rangers has been very successful, with additional screens added ‘ad hoc’ on match days to show the team line up, and promote other events and games being held at the Balmoral Stadium.
